This role will see you involved in the design of RFID products, responsibilities will include:
- Design of antennas and antenna portals, including simulations and testing
- Design of RFID tags, including simulations and testing
- Leading design projects, including managing mechanical and electrical engineering efforts
- Writing datasheets, installation instructions, and technical documentation
To be successful in this position you will need to show the following skills and experience:
- Experience around RF theory and antenna design
- Experience with RF equipment such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators
- Experience with writing datasheets, technical documentation, and end user documentation
Preference will be given to candidates that can show the following skills and experience:
- Experience with leading or managing projects
- An understanding of the product life cycle
- An understanding of mechanical engineering
- An understanding of electrical engineering
- An understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks
- Clear structured thinking and a structured approach to problem solving
- An ability to read, write, and converse fluently in English
Experience in mechanical, electronic, or software engineering will also be considered an advantage in this role.
This role is office based, at Times-7's premises in Lower Hutt.
