The Times-7 Portal Base is a RFID portal configuration designed for lower-height pallets, challenging product categories, and custom deployment requirements. Comprising of two Lower Portal Antenna Units, it's concentrated read zone makes it particularly well-suited to applications involving liquid products, metal products, and dense pallet configurations.
Optimised Coverage for Pallets up to 1.1 m
The Portal Base uses two lower antenna units to concentrate RFID coverage across the lower section of the read zone. It is optimised for pallets up to 1.1 m high, providing targeted coverage from floor level.
Improved Performance for Liquids and Metals
The lower boresight aligns RF coverage more closely with tagged items on low-height pallets. This configuration works well for pallets containing liquid and metals items.
Purpose-Built for Difficult and Dense Loads
The Portal Base concentrates the read zone around the load itself. This makes it particularly suited to dense pallet configurations and difficult-to-read products where targeted RF coverage at lower heights is important.
Flexible for Standalone or Custom Deployments
The Portal Base can be installed as a standalone RAIN RFID portal or incorporated into a larger custom portal configuration. Its two lower antenna units also make it suitable for space-constrained installations and applications where the additional height and coverage of the Portal Tower or Portal System are not required.
Reader Compatibility
Compatible with standard RAIN RFID readers, allowing system integrators to select the reader that meets their deployment requirements.
